Tree Fu Tom: Review
Tree Fu Tom: Review

As I sit here writing, Munchkin is glued to one of her two her new Tree Fu Tom DVDs.  We have read Tree Fu Tom magazine, made a holopax, stuck Tree Fu Tom stickers everywhere (including on B2’s bottom!) played Tree Fu Tom card games and played with our mini Tree Fu Tom action figure.  Where did all these Tree Fu goodies come from?  The lovely folks at Freemantle Media.

We were offered a chance to attend a Tree Fu Tom day.  Unfortunately this had to be cancelled, but to Munchkin’s great delight a goody bag was sent to ease the pain and it has done that, as well as really igniting her love of Tree Fu Tom.

We were sent a copy of the latest Tree Fu Tom DVD: Time for Tree Fu which is out now and available from Asda, Sainsbury’s, Amazon and other retailers. There are over 2 hours of Tree Fu fun and the DVD comes with the mini action figure I mentioned earlier.

The second DVD is a review copy of the ‘seasonal’ DVD, due to be released 28th October. It is called: Tree Fu Snow and the feature episode is ‘Weather Brother’, which Munchkin really enjoyed.  Zigzoo’s invention to create perfect weather goes a little hey-wire (I bet you didn’t expect that!) and Tom needs big world magic to fix the problems.

Munchkin is now frequently doing big world magic and has worked out that it is like fast yoga.  Her displays get us all giggling, especially B2!

The Tree Fu Tom Giant card games are great.  We have had a couple of family sessions playing Puffy’s Swap and Twig’s Snap.  We haven’t yet got around to the other two games which can be played with the cards.

We were also given a copy of the new Tree Fu Tom monthly magazine, which came out in September. Munchkin has had great fun doing the activities to collect stickers for her holopax, and sticking stickers on her brother’s bottom! (She was told not to put them anywhere that he could get them off and eat them!) And the whole thing came in a great hessian shopping bag, which I have been told firmly that I am not allowed to take shopping as it is “Mine, not yours Mummy”.

So all in all, our house is a Tree Fu house at the moment.  The Christmas gift guides that they also included may well come in useful in the coming months!

The next time L and Munchkin get together, they can “turn the magic on, save the day c’mon”. I am frequently told we need to do this. L does a very entertaining jiggy dance to accompany it as well. The babies will love it.
